The fizzy taste of carbonate- Bangdong medicinal water with the healing efficacy of sick stomache
嗞冒出来的碳酸味，慰劳受到痛苦的肠胃的芳东泉
Bangdong medicinal water gives you the fizz of carbonate with one sip. It is where the story from 300 years ago derived. A ginseng digger went to the place he was told by a mountain spirit in his dream. He dug out a six-leaved wild ginseng from the ground, and there came out a spring. The story of a filial daughter with the medicinal water is also passed down. Long ago, a girl in Gangreung finally reached the Bangdong medicinal water, walking a long way for her sick mother. She brought the water back to her hometown and gave it to her mother to drink. It is told that she earned her name ‘filial daughter’ as her mother’s stomach pain was gone. The medicinal water is told that it tastes just like cider when sugar is added. The components of Bangdong medicinal water like iron, manganese, and fluoride is said to have great efficacy to gastrointestinal diseases. Hereupon the Nature Conservation Council designated Bangdong medicinal water as ‘Great water of Korea’.
喝一口就能感受到嗞冒出来的碳酸的芳东泉。这里相传300多年前，采参人根据梦中看到山神灵指引的地方，挖出60年生的带参籽的山参-六叶山参，然后在采参的地方涌出泉水的故事。而且，还相传‘药水孝女’相关的故事。很久以前江陵的一个少女为了腹痛的母亲，长途跋涉终于来到芳东泉。然后，盛上泉水，回到故乡给母亲饮用，结果母亲的腹痛痊愈，此后少女受人称赞，得到了‘药水孝女’的绰号。只要放入白糖，就会产生汽水味道的芳东泉，除了碳酸还含有铁、锰、氟等元素，对肠胃病具有功效。因此，自然保护中央协议会将芳东泉指定为‘韩国的名水’。
