A hill that suddenly became an island, also turning into a precise tourism site in Hwacheon-gun
某一天成为岛屿的山坡，以华川珍贵的休养地重生
The Chuncheon Dam was constructed in 1965. From the dam, there formed an island that didn’t exist before in the northern waters of the Bukhangang River in the middle of Hwacheon River. As the newly formed body of water continued towards Hwacheon’s Lake Paro, this created an island. As the waters filled, this gathered many crucian carps. As the fish gathered, this drew many fishers toward the island and the new name Bunguh(Crucian carp) Island was given. Due to the frequent entrance of people, a bridge following many other convenient and recreational facilities was made. This made the island a ideal recreation area.
1965年竣工春川水库。与此同时在北汉江上流的华川江中间，形成了新的岛屿。随着形成连接到华川破虏湖的新的水流，曾经的小山坡成为一个岛屿。随着在坡底下池塘积水，麦穗鱼开始聚集起来。而鲫鱼成群之后，很多钓鱼客也纷纷来访，因为这里是大量钓到鲫鱼的地方，新的小岛被起名为‘鲫鱼岛’。人们纷沓而至，就建设了进入岛屿的桥梁，还有了卖店与自行车租赁店等。此后，各种设施不断增加，鲫鱼岛也从钓鱼场变成休养地。
Bungeoseom Island has become the mainstream for events and festivals for the Hwacheon area. There are many water related festivals because Hwacheon is known as the ‘Water County’. Every summer, they hold a paper boat festival along with a Trout festival 10 minutes away. The entire island is surrounded with a forest where many TV shows and movies have been filmed. A well paved hiking route and many sports facilities are available to the public. Although not intentionally created, Bungeoseom Island is a tourism sight where Hwacheon cannot deny.
鲫鱼岛已经成为在华川举行的各种庆典与活动的中心地带。就如‘水之国-华川’的别称，在华川举行很多与水相关的庆典。每年夏天举办的‘独木舟庆典’就在这里举行，而从岛屿步行10分钟距离举办山泉鱼庆典。整个岛以郁郁苍苍的森林覆盖，经常成为电视剧或电影的拍摄场所。这里已经准备好修缮妥当的散步路与野外演出场、游泳场、小型足球场、网球场等闲暇活动所需设施。虽然是不经意地形成的地方，但鲫鱼岛已经成为在华川不可或缺的休养地。
