Tomb of unfortunate queen who had to divorce her husband for political reasons, Queen Dangyeong

因为政治理由与丈夫诀别，孤独生活的悲运的王后，端敬王后慎氏之陵墓 
 
Yangju Olleung Royal Tomb is the tomb of the 11th king of Joseon’s 1st queen, Queen Dangyeong. She was from Geochang, daughter of Shin Soo Geun. In the year 1499, she was married to Jungjong. She became a queen during 1506, but due to her father’s opposition, she was ejected after seven days. When she was 71, she was buried without an heir. In the year 1739 she was reinstated as queen and her tomb was transferred to its current place. It is historic site No.210, and a UNESCO world heritage site, but it is disclosed to public. However, if you request a survey for academic purposes, it is possible to access it only on a limited basis.

杨州温陵是朝鲜11代国王中宗的原配端敬王后慎氏之陵墓。端敬王后的本籍是居昌，是益昌府院君慎守勤之女。燕山君5年（1499）与晋城大君（中宗）与结婚，被封为府夫人。因中宗反政，于中宗1年（1506）被封为王妃，但因为父亲是燕山君的妻弟，且反对逐出燕山君，所以虽然是功臣，但还是在第七天被废除。明宗12年（1577），71岁时在私邸无后嗣去世，被葬于慎氏墓域。英祖15年（1739）恢复王后地位，陵墓移葬到现在的位置，墓号为端敬、陵号为温陵。被指定为史迹第210号，作为UNESCO世界文化遗产，现在不向普通市民公开。只是，作为学术目的踏访时，可以有限制地出入。
