Clean village in the Civilian Control Line, where the dazzling sun of hope rises

Haemaru Town means ‘town where the sun rises’. Haemaru Town, located in the restricted area, is a clean village holding the blessed environment. A dense forest was formed during the 50 years of controlled entrance, and it became a habitat of numerous flora and fauna. In Haemaru Town, there are rare plants and animals like marsh ferns, violets, spireas, wormwoods, damselflies, capsids, stone morokos, Korean spotted sleepers, eels, toads, scops owls, eagles, white-fronted geese, and buzzards. Hereupon, the Haemaru Town is operating the DMZ ecology experience program based on natural environment.
